I got a call from the folks who are coordinating the next Bike to Work day in 2011. They are interested in having a rest stop in the City – probably in the train depot parking lot. It’s in May and I’ll update on the exact date, etc when I get more info. Looks like our city-based bike shop, Bull Run Bikes, is interested in being the onsite bike mechanics but we’ll need to firm all of this up. If you’re interested in helping (it really is a pretty low-key affair) drop me an email or just post back.

@Ray – I’ve ridden that before. Did it 2 years ago and it was a blast. I was signed up for it this year and did the fund-raising but the shoulder injury kept me out. The tow path is smooth near the beltway but much rougher further out and I would have been miserable….
