Two Things – one of which I need help on

I’ve got two things tonight:

Number one is seriously cool: There will be a great event at the Museum on August 18th. There will be a Civil-War era live fire demonstration on the Museum lawn at 10:30 and 1:00. Also, a cool movie premier “Danger between the lines” will occur at 11:30 and 3:00 in the Museum – free with admission. Then at 2:00 author Fred Ray will give a short talk about his book “Shock troops of the Confederacy” in the museum – free with admission. I’m not a big Civil War nut but that’s a pretty solid lineup and I’ll be there.

Number two is a good community thing: on August 25th, the Parks and Rec folks are hosting their annual 5k run. It is used to raise money to help disadvantaged kids attend events that aren’t free. The parks and rec people are looking for sponsors for this event. I’m looking for 4-6 sponsors to help out with this event. It’s $250 to be a sponsor and I’ve signed up for the first slot.
