I went out, all high-roller style. Sarah and I went to Washington and stayed in a $500/night hotel! Um, yeah..not so much. I was in my own bed at home by 10:00! I never make it very late. I went to a neighbors house for a bit, stopped by another place where there was supposed to be a get together but it was cancelled and then we went home and went to bed. I was beat from training and ready for the sack. Did anyone else do anything cool?

Watched “Rosemary’s Baby,” drank sparkling cider & listened to neighbors set off fireworks and noisemakers — including our dog!
Today I went to open houses in Manassas & Lake Ridge. Ate black-eyed peas and greens. One person I talked to is part of a local Meetup.com bicycle group. Another said good luck correlates with how many people show up to wish you well on New Year’s. It’s going to be a good year for my friends! Happy New Year!
