Wow, just wow

As the Mayor is out of town, I got to preside over introducing Santa and lighting the Christamas tree.  It.Was.Mobbed.  I’d guess there were a thousand people there.  Maybe more.

I thought I’d be really nervous – after all, public speaking ain’t really my thing but I had a lot of fun addressing the crowd and introducing Linda Womak, the woman of the year. 

Thanks to HMI, the museum and everyone involved.  It was a lot of fun and we had a ton of families in Old Town.  Excited about the parade tomorrow!
