Been awhile since I posted! I’ve been busy with city, business and biking as much as I can stand it. Just killer fireworks on the 4th. The OTM was mobbed and things seem to go very smoothly. Kudos to the staff and HMI for another great event!!

Many many thanks to the anonymous donor who has contributed more than half the cost of the fireworks for several years. I would love to see him/her be the marshall in our Christmas parade if we could only fine out who he/she is.

Agree, thanks to the donor (and the City) who helps make Manassas July celebration one of the best. This year’s was great. Regarding the use of parking garage, the council got it right. I asked about 20 people around me on the Museum lawn, and no one had an issue with garage being closed. Great time at a great event.

The Old Town Manassas July 4th Fireworks were spectacular
and obviously enjoyed by thousands of people who
gathered in the museum/train station area as well as numerous
other locations. We should all applaud the generosity
of the anonymous donor who enabled this fine event to occur.
