Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year celebration. We had a very low-profile get together and called it a night early. I went on a 12 mile mountain bike ride yesterday and there was just no way I was making it to midnight. Cool thing is that all of that 12 mile ride was inside the City. Not all of it was off-road but quite a bit was. Freakishly warm too.

There are a lot of trails and otherwise to either run, hike or bike within the City. I’ve gone on a couple of longer hikes in the last couple of weeks, and like the different prospective that is afforded from walking. Happy New Year.

My dog turned around and headed for home after two blocks this morning. Time to add his sweater on to our walks. Happy New Year and safe winter adventures to everyone!
