My Side of the Fence

The danger isn't going too far. It's that we don't go far enough.

TEA Party Beer Summit

Date is as yet undecided, I’m kicking around the 14th of May but that may move as I haven’t really talked to anyone yet…:).  Steve, check your facebook…:)  As always, these are reasonably direct affairs.  We sit around my living room, we have some great beer and we talk about it.  In this case, we’ll be drinking Dogfish Head and I’m buying.  We’ll have great Root Beer for those that aren’t so inclined.

These have been great fun in the past and we’ve had people of wildly different viewpoints.  You need to bring your “A” game but it isn’t a debate, it’s a discussion and we will part as friends.  The usual suspects are automatically invited.  The Chair of the Manassas Tea Party is invited (you guys will all know each other, Manassas is a small town).  There are two slots open for others.  Email or post if you’re interested.

ok, Captain Renault, since you are rounding up the usual suspects, I’ll be there!

  4. I’d like to attend if you end up with a different date.

  5. I’ll be helping w/1 By Youth in Point of Woods that day. Enjoyed past conversations and meeting new people – glad you’re continuing your summits!

  6. Count me in.

  7. I’ve got a wedding to go to on that day.

  8. Steve, that’s no excuse. Sharing a beer with me will be far more fun and productive. I’m sure the bride and groom will understand (I’ll write a note for you).

Well, have fun at the wedding.

  9. Rich,

I might be inclined to chance it if Mrs. T weren’t the Matron of Honor. Fool’s rush in, and all that.

OK, off topic again, but the Prince William Cavalry is slated to ride today
from the 0ld Brentsville CH, starting near three, and arriving at the Manassas
Museum around 5:30 where there will be a brief ceremony. The public
is invited. A nice way to end a beautiful day.
