I apologize for the slow posting. The Council has been slogging our way through the budget and I’ve been slogging my way through running my business and trying to train for my upcoming rides. There is no good news on the budget front. The economy keeps sucking and we keep cutting. I find my optimism being ground from me and I don’t like it. It’s time like these we learn to love what we had in the past. Manassas is hurting and she can use all the help you can offer…
OK, there is a public hearing Monday night (City Hall) on the City Manager’s proposed budget. If you’re amped up about it, roll on over there and bust the joint up. It will begin at about 7:30 – there is 1 item on the agenda before the budget hearing but I don’t think it will take but 15 minutes or so.
The Osbourn Athletic boosters are having their annual mulch sale. If you want to help support the athletic programs at Osbourn please consider buying some mulch from them. They even deliver it! This way your ride won’t have a back seat full of mulch detritus. Here is the form.
