Got this from the school folks a couple of days ago:
“Griffith Construction reports that they have finished all of the change out of the structural members and the installation of bracing and plywood facing at Mayfield. All that is left is the re-attachment of electrical wiring, ductwork, sprinkler piping, etc. and the repair to finishes. They are very confident of returning Mayfield to the school division by August 1. ”
This be good news.

Given the potential downsides, things have gone pretty well for the kids and teachers. Not a lot of drama and the community response was terrific. In many ways it has been small town America at its best. From my perspective there appeared to be lots of unselfish giving. Quite frankly made me proud to live here.
