What I’m up to

I’m expecting action on hiring the zoning inspector within the next few weeks.  It seems like it is taking forever but with municipal government, you have to write the whole thing up first before you go and vote on it.  It’s a reasonable idea to have all of that information but I do hope the rest of the Council supports this idea.

In the meantime and beyond, I’m working on some economic development and big picture ideas.  As I’ve said before, we’re a small City and we need to keep moving ahead.  I’ve never tried to do something like this before but there is a ton of information available so we’ll see what comes of it.  The goal, as always, is to do as much as possible without spending any money and, while that sounds unlikely, there are ways of doing it.  I’ll pass along more information as it comes into a usable format.
