The comments on the pictures don’t show but the empty spot on that shelf was previously occupied by kidney beans. Guess everyone is makin’ chilli. Many of the aisles in the store looked looted. I can’t remember ever seeing that in present day America….the land of plenty and just in time delivery….
Oh, the last picture is of the trashcans that we’re using to catch the water running down the windows from the ice dams. Sarah made a little water slide that runs into the can. A rig worthy of my finest efforts. I love that woman…:)
Oh I remember the shelves looking like that back in 1996 when I worked at the bakery at Giant. At one point we had even cleared out the frozen bread from the Bakery Freezer. It was BARE!!!
As you should love Sarah, she is a great woman 🙂

Curtis said Norfolk Southern is carrying in propane trucks because they can’t make it by road.
Love your ice dam photos. I’ll send you photos of my flooded basement when this all melts.
