The City’s first Neighborhood Conference is October 27th. This is for everyone in the City to help learn how to more efficiently use the resources that the City has to offer. This includes doing stuff like forming a neighborhood watch to work with City departments to get better responses to your problems. We are also trying to develop neighborhood leadership and collaberation. The Mayor will be there to kick it off and the event is organized by Community Development. The event will be at the Boys and Girls club over behind Dean elementary on Oct. 27th. It starts at 8:30 and goes until 3:00.
