I've recieved several emails and a couple of calls about the parking situation in Old Town.  In particular folks are interested in the lot behind the Train Depot.  This lot has been available for parking for years and years but if you go up there right now you will see the sign at left.  Many if not almost all folks around assume that this lot is owned by the City.  This is not the case.  The property is privately owned and the City has been leasing this lot for public parking.

I can't say much about this as the lawyers are involved but, safe to say, our lease has expired.  We've been negotiating with the owner but have been unable to reach terms.  I can't answer many questions about the situation but I'm hopeful we will come to some arrangement in the near future.
