My Side of the Fence

The danger isn't going too far. It's that we don't go far enough.

School Event

The Manassas City School system is hosting a Community Forum entitled:  “Creating supportive environments to safeguard our children in turbulent times”.  The event is the 21st of January at 7:00p.m.  It will be hosted at Metz Middle school. If you need more information, please contact Sandy Thompson at 571-377-6043.

We’ve had a tough year and I am glad to see the schools respond so positively to our problems.   This is a delicate subject.  If you have something positive to comment on, please do.  If not, don’t.

Security gone Wild

Seriously, if you are expecting a bazillion people to go into DC for an event, the best thing to do is to close the major traffic arteries into the City.  Force all of the traffic to take residential streets through Maryland!!

I like it!  Simple and brilliant.  The ensuing traffic jams will prevent any bad guys from getting into the City in the first place!!

If our leadership has to turn the capital into an armed camp and shut down hundreds of miles of arterial roads (b/c that is what the traffic jams will do) in order to appear in public, maybe we’ve gotten something wrong.
