Title is getting old but there is a good land use meeting tomorrow night (5:30 2nd floor).  We’ll be covering plan review issues, the Downtown sector plan and the status of the Economic development resolution we passed 6 months ago.  Should be pretty interesting.

The Chief of police and several folks from ICE gave a good update on the progress of the Manassas MOU this evening. The ICE program at the jail is doing an excellent job and, from the sound of it, the City may soon have its own agreement with ICE. The Chief of Police will (tentatively) present the proposed MOU at the next Council meeting. If you are interested in the ICE program, the next Council meeting is the 25th (pretty sure about that).
